Bearwood College is delighted to announce that from September 2007 we will be starting a Year 3 class for aged 7. This precedes the formal opening of a new Prep School in September 2008 when there will be a Year 3 and 4 class.

The Prep School will provide a sound education and a wide range of extra-curricular activities for boys and girls between the ages of 7 and 11. This facility completes Bearwood’s progressive development over the last four years into a ‘through-school’, offering care and education to children from 3 months to 18 years.

Located on the stunning 250 acre site, the Prep School will occupy Jellicoe House; a welcoming learning environment with small class sizes in an attractive setting. It is walking distance from the Mansion House where the Senior School is based but link-attached to the Nursery and Pre-Prep building which can be helpful for younger pupils in facilitating the transition to more formal Prep education. All Prep School pupils will enjoy full access to the more advanced resources situated in the Senior School buildings such as the Swimming Pool, Theatre and Science Laboratories.

For September 2007 two qualified teachers for this new class have been recruited and we look forward to welcoming all new joiners in the forthcoming academic year.
