Culford Celebrates GCSE Success
September 3, 2008 on 1:14 pm | In 2008 GCSE results, SuffolkCulford School pupils were celebrating GCSE success today with an excellent 38% of all grades at A* or A grade.
The overall pass rates are as follows:
38% A* – A grades
71% A* – B grades
93% A* – C grades
In addition, 99% of pupils got at least five GCSEs at A* – C grades.
The Director of Studies, Dr John Guntrip commented, “These are an excellent set of results which are a real tribute to how much hard work pupils and teachers put into preparing for these examinations.
“One of the many highlights is that all pupils who took GCSE Maths a year early achieved 100% A* to A grades, up from 94% last year.”
Seventy five pupils sat GCSEs this year.
