Girls mark the centenary of the Suffragette Movement

To celebrate the recent centenary of the Suffragette Movement the pupils at Perthshire’s leading girls’ school Kilgraston were involved in several interdisciplinary projects looking at the changing role of women in society.

For the final of the project the pupils hosted an Edwardian Afternoon Tea Party. The girls enjoyed dressing up as maids and serving tea. The event was attended by staff and parents who enjoyed a selection of afternoon tea fancies, Viennese biscuits and sandwiches all made and prepared by girls from Upper Four (S2)
