Open on time!

King’s was not to be defeated by the weather and the school opened on time. 5th Form internal exams took place as planned and day pupils taking external exams were given the opportunity to stay free of charge in boarding houses. Headmaster, Ian Wilmshurst stated “I am very grateful to all academic and support staff who have worked extremely hard to keep the school functioning. Staff living outside Bruton also made very effort to get into school. The campus has looked picturesque but we all could do with some milder weather, particularly our hockey and netball players”.
