OPEN DAY EVENTS AT BEDFORD MODERN SCHOOL 2010

Bedford Modern School (www.bedmod.co.uk) is an independent day school for girls and boys aged 7 to 18 and combines excellent facilities, first class teaching and traditional values.

We are proud of our academic standards, our wide range of cultural and sporting opportunities and our exceptionally caring pastoral structure. We want our students to gain the confidence and academic results to stride confidently into a world where their talents will be recognised and fulfilled.

Bedford Modern School has the following Open Events planned for 2010:-

School “In Action” Day – Thursday 6th May

Small Group Tours at 9.00am, 10.00am, 2.00pm and 3.00pm
This is an opportunity to see the School “in action” during a normal school ay and tour the site whilst students are in lessons.

Junior School Information Evening – Wednesday 15th September

7.00pm prompt start (please arrive by 6.45pm)
Our Junior School Open Evening is an opportunity for parents and grandparents to find out about the Junior School, enjoy some cheese and wine and hear presentations from key staff followed by a Question and Answer session.

Whole School Open Day – Saturday 13th November

Morning Session – 10.00am to 12.00Noon
Afternoon Session – 2.00pm to 4.00pm
This is a chance for the whole family to look around our excellent facilities and meet some of the staff and students. The Headmaster, Michael Hall, will give a talk during the morning and one in the afternoon as will the Head of the Junior School, Nick Yelland. Group tours will take place throughout the morning. A crèche and face painter are also available in the Junior School.
