ST HUGH’S SCHOOL HERTFORDSHIRE – ST HUGH’S SCHOOL PLAY WORLD CUP MATCH

On Tuesday (15 June), pupils and staff from St Hugh’s School, the Prep school for St Edmund’s College, played in their own special World Cup match. A team of Year 6 boys (aged 10 years) played against a team of male and female teachers. In the end it was youth and agility that won the game, with the pupils winning six goals to two.

The whole school came out to watch the game dressed in various World Cup kits, hats, flags and even the odd vuvuzela!

Mr Blom, the Head of St Hugh’s said: “All the children enjoyed the match whether they were playing or spectating and it was great to celebrate the World Cup right here at St Hugh’s. “
