The RGS The Grange U11 rugby teams got their season off to a flying start by winning The Elms 7-a-side tournament on Saturday.
In the group stages the first string team was victorious against Monmouth School, King’s St Alban’s and Hereford Cathedral School to top their group.
In the final RGS The Grange met Abberley School who had also convincingly won their group. In a very close fought contest RGS The Grange ran out three tries to one.
The U11 second string team, who were also playing in the A Tournament performed courageously too win draws against King’s Hawford, King’s St Alban’s and only loosing one game against the eventual tournament runners up Abberley School.
The Tournament clearly showed the strong position that RGS The Grange rugby currently finds itself.
